Nico Goosen

Dr. Nico Goosen is an Enterprise AI and Transformation Executive with over 25 years of experience in regulated financial services. He specialises in AI strategy, GenAI and LLM governance, and large-scale business transformation, having led multi-billion-rand portfolios and enterprise-wide change across multi-geography teams, delivering measurable commercial and operational impact.​

Alongside his executive career, Nico has extensive experience lecturing and facilitating corporate learning engagements. His focus is on the practical application of AI, strategy execution, and programme delivery in complex environments. He is known for translating advanced concepts into clear, actionable insights for both senior leaders and practitioners. Nico also advises Boards and Executive teams on AI strategy, enterprise transformation, and value realisation. ​

He holds a PhD in Commerce and Administration (AI focus), an MBA from Henley Business School, a Master’s in Programme Management, and aBTech in Environmental Health.​
