Marion Fahy is a Global Project Manager for a health technology company called LifeWave in Galway. She is focused on enhancing business strategies by aligning with the organisations mission and vision by tracking Key Performance Indicators. Responsibilities include organising, planning, and executing core Global projects for this fast-growing international network marketing company.
Marion is commended for leading complex projects with positive interactive communications with all levels of the organisation and good problem-solving skills to ensure project success.
Kevin is a seasoned project and programme management professional with over 25 years of experience in various industries, including oil, civil engineering, construction, and telecommunications. He is currently the head of project delivery at Enet, Ireland’s largest independent wholesale telecommunications provider.
At Enet, Kevin established a new project management office that implemented 3 PM governance across the organisation and helped to drive growth. He is also leading Enet’s growth programme, which includes projects such as delivering new high-speed fibre networks.
Aodh achieved his PhD in Experimental Physics from UCD in 2010, followed by notable research positions at Columbia University (USA) and Max-Planck Institute (Germany). During his tenure at SiriusXT as a senior scientist, Aodh received the esteemed Marie-Skłodowska Curie Industrial Fellowship award. His pursuit of knowledge also led him to complete a post-graduate diploma in management and later the IPMA-D Certified Project Management Diploma from the Institute of Project Management.
In 2019, Aodh joined TOMRA R&D as the Systems Team Lead, dedicating his expertise to advancing machine vision systems. Recognising his outstanding contributions, Aodh’s role evolved in 2021 when he was appointed Technical Manager of Systems Development. In this capacity, he spearheads the R&D teams responsible for real-time software and systems, driving innovative solutions forward.
As an SCS Engineer, he successfully implemented multiple upgrades to control systems in high-voltage substations across Ireland as part of ESB’s forward-looking “brighter future” strategy. After an impressive eight-month tenure, Sinclair was assigned to the ESB’s international division in Bahrain. In this role, he spearheaded a comprehensive upgrade of the control centre, encompassing a state-of-the-art SCADA system, Curved Video Wallboard, and Energy Management System. This upgrade enabled seamless electrical equipment control and monitoring for the world’s largest single-site aluminium smelter.
In 2018, Sinclair joined the ESB’s projects delivery organisation as a Project Engineer. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing major and minor capital works, operations, and maintenance in the counties of Cork and Kerry. Utilising both traditional and agile project management methodologies, Sinclair successfully delivered multiple projects concurrently, effectively adapting to the ever-evolving nature of the environment.
Stephen holds a first-class honours BSc in Financial Mathematics and Economics from the University of Galway. Furthermore, he attained an exceptional MSc in Quantitative Finance (1.1) from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School. Stephen is a project manager at Rockall Technologies, overseeing the successful delivery of cutting-edge collateral management software to esteemed banks.
Before this role, he gained seven years of invaluable experience as a financial consultant at Murex, operating seamlessly within diverse client implementation and software development projects utilising Agile and Waterfall methodologies throughout their life cycles.
Sorsha currently holds a position within the Tax Policy Division of the Department of Finance in Ireland. She concisely briefs the Minister and senior management regarding tax and State aid matters. She actively develops and implements tax policy changes, ensuring their successful execution through the Finance Bill legislative programme. Sorsha has also gained valuable experience in the Financial Services and Economic and Budget Divisions.
Before joining the Department of Finance, Sorsha contributed her expertise to the Internal and EU Audit Unit of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. Her journey in the public sector commenced at the Office of the Controller and Auditor General as a Trainee Auditor.
Sorsha possesses a range of professional qualifications, including Associate Membership of the Institute in Taxation Ireland (achieved second-highest score in Ireland’s May 2017 Final Exams) and Fellowship in the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (top scorer in Ireland’s June 2005 Final Exams).
Brona, a skilled communications consultant, has successfully developed, executed, and overseen public relations and promotional strategies for a diverse clientele of corporate entities and consumers. Following a substantial tenure in agency work, Brona embarked on an independent path, offering her expertise as a freelancer across various projects. Notably, her most demanding yet fulfilling endeavour involved serving as a consultant in Haiti. In this role, she spearheaded the inception and ongoing management of the Digicel Entrepreneur of the Year program, demonstrating her exceptional leadership and commitment.
