Flexible Working

Work Location
The role is campus-based. WMG staff are expected to be on campus more days than working remotely. During the induction phase you’ll be required to work 100% in the office.

WMG is seeking a Project Manager to play a key role in delivering innovative research in a variety of engineering and manufacturing fields. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and talented Project Manager with an interest in engineering research to oversee impactful, high‑profile projects. In this role, you will work closely with academics and stakeholders to provide high‑quality management across a diverse research portfolio.
You’ll be joining a large, supportive, and multidisciplinary team of academics and engineers with varied expertise and interests.
You will have significant industry project management experience, ideally with relevant technical experience, and be a confident and articulate communicator, as the role provides opportunities to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, as well as providing an engaging dynamic working environment as part of our wider project team.
You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills that can be applied to multidisciplinary projects.
The ideal candidate will be a technically competent, experienced project management professional and have strong people skills.
Experience of working in both research and educational settings would be advantageous.
