Responsibilities

• Directing the development of strategic delivery plans, influences strategy implementation whilst establishing and managing key stakeholder relationships and influencing the management of resources.
• Ensuring the achievement of company objectives in accordance with stakeholder requirements, aligned to compliance and regulatory frameworks, ensuring effective commercial business practices and tangible operational productivity and improvement.
• Directing the coordination and delivery of a major project and oversees the implementation of strategies, provides strategic direction and monitors delivery in alignment with overall vision and objectives.
• Responsible for determining and assembling the right project team with the right skills, experience, capabilities and technical competency, including any required external specialist appointments.
• Creating and nurturing a high-performing and inclusive team environment that encourages contribution and recognition.

About You

You’ll Need To Have

• Proven experience and track-record for delivering major new build construction projects.
• Advanced technical understanding of project management practices, controls, governance and procedures.
• Full budgetary oversight both external project budget and internal fee budget.
• Advanced risk and opportunity management/practitioner.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.

You’ll Also Have

• Highly effective communicator/presenter and ability to interface with senior clients, officials and other senior stakeholders with significant gravitas.
• Ability to capture the audience and clearly transmit the position/message.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with key stakeholders.
• Advanced competency and understanding of current health safety executive (HSE) regulations.
