About the Opportunity

This position offers the opportunity to lead project management activities for a Client, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate continuously with the Client’s representatives regarding project progress and areas of concerns
  • Propose in-house project management procedures to comply with contract requirements
  • Establish and maintain specific project procedures for Design/Construction Supervision Management
  • Prepare special reports to investigate and recommend solutions for any problems related to the Scope of Services
  • Identify priorities, develop organization structure, and provide clear direction on methods, time frame, and schedule
  • Define roles and responsibilities of project management staff
  • Attend executive and progress meetings
  • Monitor performance to ensure successful delivery of Key Performance Indicators and client contractual requirements
  • Advise on potential variations to scope of work that may generate cost or time impact
  • Lead in assessing variations and claims, reporting technical positions to the Client
  • Advise on progress slippage and propose corrective actions
  • Review and present comments on reports by Design/Supervision Consultant(s) and Contractor
  • Coordinate with Design Manager during detailed Design stage to ensure compliance with Client requirements

About You

Qualifications include:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Post Graduate education such as MSC or PHD
  • Chartered certification such as PMP
  • 20 or more years of experience
  • PMC experience is a must
