About the Opportunity

Tees Valley Lithium (TVL) is developing a strategically important lithium refining facility in the Northeast of England to support the UK and European battery supply chain. The project will play a key role in strengthening domestic capability in critical minerals and battery materials. We are a focused, high performing team building a major industrial project with long-term strategic importance.

Responsibilities

• Leading the overall delivery strategy for the refinery project
• Managing engineering and construction partners
• Ensuring integration across process design, infrastructure and utilities
• Maintaining cost discipline and schedule integrity
• Driving clear risk management and mitigation planning
• Ensuring robust governance and reporting processes
• Supporting Board and investor updates as required

About You

We are seeking an experienced project leader who is comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving organisation and who enjoys building capability as well as delivering outcomes.

You will likely bring:

• Significant experience delivering industrial or process plant capital projects
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management capability
• Experience working closely with engineering contractors
• Confidence managing cost, schedule and risk
• Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders

Eligibility

Experience in chemicals, energy, battery materials or heavy industrial environments would be advantageous.
