About the Opportunity
Faith in the City: Countering Hate, Cultivating Hope is a three-year programme (1 April 2026 – 31 March 2029) responding to rising community tensions and the risk of people being drawn towards divisive narratives and behaviors, aligned with the Church of England’s Vision & Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Programme coordination and administration
- Programme board / steering group support
- Events and convening support
- Impact tool and reporting support
- Communications and resource support
- Finance admin support (for reporting)
About You
You will be highly organised and proactive, with a strong track record of supporting multi-partner programmes through effective systems and clear communication. It is essential that the postholder can credibly handle faith language, church culture and understands the context for project delivery.
Eligibility
Experience:
- Strong admin/coordination experience
- Experience supporting meetings with formal minutes and action tracking
Skills:
- Highly organised; able to manage competing priorities and keep calm under pressure
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Confident with common office tools and able to learn programme systems quickly
Knowledge and understanding:
- Understanding of racial justice, social cohesion and the dynamics that shape vulnerability to extremist narratives
- Understanding and experience of working with Christian Churches, preferably Anglican
- A deep personal commitment to the aims of the project
Personal attributes:
- Discretion, good judgement and professionalism when working on sensitive issues
- Values alignment with Together Liverpool
