Project Coordinator

Job Description

About the Opportunity

You will lead project coordination and site management activities at construction sites, driving project schedules and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. This role requires proactive communication and negotiation to align client and consultant requirements, ensuring successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage construction site activities to achieve project milestones efficiently and maintain progress within schedule
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to optimize resource allocation and ensure timely delivery
  • Amend and update engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit to accurately reflect project changes and design updates
  • Prepare coordination and as-built drawings with detailed quotations for submission to clients and consultants to support project approvals
  • Facilitate tender interviews, site meetings, and project kick-off meetings to align stakeholder expectations and drive project alignment
  • Liaise effectively between consultants and clients to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and maintain smooth project communication
  • Manage procurement activities by sourcing and securing materials and services within project timelines to avoid delays
  • Execute ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors to support project objectives and organizational goals
  • Apply interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to influence project outcomes and foster collaboration among stakeholders
  • Drive project sales closure by engaging clients and consultants to secure project approvals and contracts

About You

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office to produce and manage technical documentation. Holder of BCSS certification and Managing Work at Height certification to comply with safety standards. Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil, construction, or structural engineering roles.
