About The Role

Project Coordinator – Join Our Team!

Are you highly organised, great with people, and passionate about keeping projects moving smoothly?

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of fabricated steel from our Hereford facility to client sites across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative project team where your communication, coordination skills, and problem-solving ability will make a real impact on project success!

Responsibilities

  • Plan & Coordinate Deliveries
    • Build and maintain delivery schedules aligned to production and project timelines
    • Confirm load readiness with fabrication teams
    • Arrange safe and efficient transport with both internal teams and subcontractors
  • Monitor, Track & Report
    • Track progress and highlight any variances
    • Escalate issues to the Project Manager and support programme forecasting
    • Provide clear and accurate updates for internal reporting
  • Client & Site Liaison
    • Ensure client site teams are prepared to receive deliveries
    • Provide timely, professional communication throughout the process
    • Support positive, long-term client relationships
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Ensure all delivery paperwork is accurate and complete
    • Work to company procedures, safety standards, and transport regulations
    • Promote cost-effective and sustainable transport practices

About You

Essential

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules
  • Excellent communication skills across internal teams, suppliers, and clients
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or project coordination
  • Confident using Microsoft 365 (especially Excel and planning tools)
  • A team-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

Desirable

  • Experience in construction or infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of fabrication processes (internal or outsourced)
