About the Opportunity

Portfolio Manager – Shopping Centres (WA). Own centre performance. Lead people. Influence outcomes across the state. Take full accountability for the day-to-day management and performance of up to three shopping centres within the broader oversight of the Western Australia portfolio, setting a clear leadership tone and delivering measurable value to both Knight Frank and its major client.

About You

Extensive experience in shopping centre management. Proven ability to lead and develop centre teams. Experience managing multiple centres or operating within a portfolio environment. Strong understanding of how centres operate day to day across retailer engagement, marketing delivery, operations and compliance, and financial performance. Ability to deliver outcomes, not just manage process. Confident communicator who can guide, challenge and support others. A practical, hands-on operator who leads from the front.

The Role

We are seeking a proven shopping centre leader with full accountability for centre performance and a broader leadership remit across Western Australia. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of up to three shopping centres, setting clear direction across all aspects of delivery and leading teams with intent. Beyond your own centres, you will take on direct leadership responsibility for Centre Managers across Western Australia, owning performance outcomes and driving consistency across the wider portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Centre Performance and Direction: Own the performance of your centres across operations, retail delivery, marketing and financial outcomes. Set clear direction and ensure consistent execution across all functions. Deliver centre strategic asset plans and budget objectives with a strong focus on key property fundamentals.
  • Leadership and People: Lead, develop and hold your centre teams accountable. Provide guidance and support to other Centre Managers across WA. Act as a steady and experienced voice within the broader team.
  • Retailer Engagement and Experience: Maintain strong, professional relationships with retailers. Ensure centres are well presented. Support retailer performance through clear communication and engagement.
  • Financial Performance: Oversee operating and capital budgets, forecasting, and delivery. Drive income performance across all revenue streams. Maintain strong financial discipline and reporting standards.
  • Operations, Risk and Compliance: Ensure centres operate safely, consistently, and in line with all requirements. Maintain a high standard of presentation and operational delivery. Embed a disciplined approach to risk and compliance.
