About the Opportunity

Our firm is seeking an experienced and analytical Portfolio Manager to support portfolio management, trading execution, investment research, and client relationship management. This role is client-facing and cross-functional, requiring strong technical expertise across public and private markets, familiarity with regulatory frameworks, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced investment environment serving international and LATAM clients.

Type: Full-time, in-office

Responsibilities

  • Execute trades across client portfolios in accordance with portfolio mandates and internal policies
  • Maintain and monitor the firm’s trade blotter
  • Ensure proper trade allocation across client accounts
  • Track portfolio positioning relative to risk profiles and investment guidelines
  • Support and maintain relationships with assigned clients
  • Conduct periodic reviews of client risk profiles and investment mandates
  • Perform allocation checks to confirm alignment with client objectives
  • Review trading activity to ensure adherence to internal compliance standards
  • Maintain documentation related to portfolio monitoring and compliance processes
  • Prepare annual client reporting materials
  • Review and calculate portfolio performance metrics
  • Produce allocation and risk reports to verify consistency with client mandates
  • Perform annual reviews of custodial relationships
  • Evaluate custodial platforms, including cost structures and service quality
  • Document findings for internal compliance and fiduciary review
  • Conduct research on venture capital and private market opportunities
  • Support due diligence and strategic discussions with senior leadership
  • Participate in client meetings to present investment insights and research findings
  • Assist in explaining private investment structures and strategies to clients

About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (CFA designation preferred)
  • Experience in portfolio management and trading within an RIA, family office, or asset management firm
  • Strong understanding of portfolio mandates, risk profiling, and asset allocation
  • Solid knowledge of public markets including equities, fixed income, ETFs, and market dynamics
  • Series 65 license required; additional licenses are a plus
