About the Opportunity

Location: On site in Greenville, SC; Mount Pleasant, SC; or Columbia, SC

Summary

The Portfolio Manager assists in the assessment of risk and management of the Bank’s loan portfolio by providing analytical and credit oversight. Responsible for the annual review, renewal, loan covenant compliance reviews, and financial collection process within assigned loan portfolio. Partners with Relationship Managers to grow and develop a high-quality and profitable loan portfolio.

Responsibilities

Evaluates pertinent information to determine risk rating and credit acceptability
Partners with Relationship Managers to meet with clients and collect financial data
Analyzes global cash flow for prospects and guarantors
Prepares financial spreads, credit presentations, and loan pricing models
Assists in pricing and structure of new loans and renewals
Monitors industry trends and conducts risk analysis
Ensures compliance with loan covenants and completes annual reviews

About You

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience
2 years experience required; 2 - 4 years preferred
Strong analytical abilities and credit underwriting skills
Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
