Responsibilities

  • Analyze debit and credit card portfolio performance across acquisition, activation, usage, and retention metrics.
  • Identify and recommend targeted campaigns to drive spend, reduce attrition, and increase customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to design and launch lifecycle campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to inform strategy.
  • Prepare and present regular portfolio performance reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal risk policies.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, mobile, digital, direct mail).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to ensure campaign alignment and governance.
  • Continuously test, measure, and optimize campaign effectiveness using A/B testing and performance analytics.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field
Experience in financial services, preferably in cards or payments
Strong analytical and storytelling skills using data
Understanding of customer segmentation and personalization strategies
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign)
Proven experience in card portfolio performance analysis
Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing (Cards)
Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Campaign performance tracking & reporting
Regulatory awareness in financial marketing
Project management and cross-functional collaboration

Our client, a Global Payments Firm, is currently carrying out a project for a Leading Bank in the Middle East. To support this project, our client is looking to onboard a Card Portfolio Manager to join their team. This individual would be required to enhance customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through targeted, data-informed lifecycle marketing strategies that optimize card portfolio performance and align with business objectives.
