Canada’s project management job market is one of the most active in the world, with strong demand across technology, infrastructure, construction, and the public sector — from BC and Alberta to Ontario and beyond.
Many professionals pursuing a structured PM qualification choose the Certified Project Management Diploma as their entry point: an internationally accredited IPMA® credential that builds the competence foundation employers expect, without the multi-year experience requirement of senior-level certifications.
As you progress, you’ll learn how to choose the right tools, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and make sound decisions. The focus is on building judgement and confidence you can apply in the situations project managers face every day.
Your competence is assessed through written assignments and an official examination, designed to reinforce learning and test your ability to apply what you’ve covered. Upon completion, you will earn three globally recognised credentials to strengthen your professional profile and boost your career prospects.

Two written assignments — a self-assessment and a written project — and a 3-hour online exam with Multiple-Choice and Scenario-style questions are used to evaluate students’ progress in the course.
Classes take place once per week for three hours. The core material and reflecting on your learning should take 4 to 6 hours per week. As you can see, though, this greatly depends on each person’s ability.
