Our Technology and Innovation group role is to develop and manage products and solutions throughout their lifecycle, aligning customer needs with business objectives, and driving continuous performance and innovation in market.

About the role:

Location is flexible across all capital cities.

The Portfolio Manager role is responsible for the vision, roadmap and strategy execution, including managing portfolio lifecycle, services catalogue, GTM and optimising performance and profitability in market of an allocated portfolio. The incumbent will own lifecycle management of services in the allocated portfolio including the development and introduction of new repeatable services, solutions and offerings, addressing customer needs in vertical markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and own portfolio vision, plan and roadmaps and clearly articulate those across the business.

Develop new solutions and offerings relevant to NEC, market and strategy.

Manage portfolio lifecycle, from introduction to exit, creating repeatable and profitable solutions and offerings. Including development of investment case for introduction and onboarding of new solutions.

Develop and maintain a service catalogue that sales teams are enabled to sell, and delivery teams are capable of delivering.

Lead Go-to-Market execution- define GTM approach, articulate customer value propositions and messaging and enable sales and marketing to sell and promote the offerings in market.

Own overall financial performance of the portfolio and actively work to optimise profitability and value to customers.

Develop competitive offerings- understand competitive landscape, actively identify market trends and opportunities, and adapt offerings based on market and customer feedback.

Drive innovation and thought leadership and act as a Portfolio evangelist

Key Skills and Experience

* Strategic, ‘big picture’ thinking with ability to mobilise and translate to practical actions.
* Experience in portfolio/solution/product management.
* Strong understanding of ‘Portfolio Management’ and ‘Go-to-Market’ principles and practices and its application within a matrixed organisation.
* Solid business acumen through the complete business lifecycle, from concept ideation and development, through to execution, repeatability, ROI, and end of life stages.
* Deep understanding of the marketplace and competitive landscape, and strategies to maintain such understanding in a fast-moving dynamic landscape.
* Strategic relationship building and management with the broader business and partner community.
* Results and outcomes focused.
* Strong communicator, curious and inquisitive.
