Portfolio Manager Enterprise Operations

About the Opportunity

As the Portfolio Manager, Enterprise Operations, you will play a key role in driving some of the organisation’s most complex and high-impact strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Operations, you will translate executive priorities into clear, actionable plans and ensure delivery across multiple programs and workstreams.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to provide an enterprise-wide view of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment, momentum, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Strategy, Finance and Business Units to assess feasibility, define scope, and establish resourcing models for key initiatives
  • Act as a central escalation point for program leads, identifying risks and resolving blockers to keep delivery on track
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration, connecting Business Units and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and leverage scale
  • Translate executive direction into structured workstreams, plans, and operational metrics
  • Proactively manage interdependencies, risks, and resource constraints across a complex portfolio of programs
  • Ensure strong governance practices are in place, with clear decision-making frameworks and consistent reporting to senior leadership

About You

Experienced in program management, business operations, or consulting within complex, matrixed environments (typically 7+ years). A strategic thinker with strong systems thinking capability and the ability to see how decisions impact the broader business. Highly skilled at influencing and building relationships with senior stakeholders, even without direct authority. A clear and structured communicator, able to synthesize complex information into actionable insights. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes in fast-paced, evolving environments. Experienced with delivery methodologies (Agile, Lean, Waterfall) and able to adapt them to suit business needs.
