Portfolio Manager – Real Estate Private Credit

Sydney | Real Estate Debt & Structured Capital

We’re partnering with a leading real estate private credit platform to appoint a Portfolio Manager within their Execution & Asset Management team. This is a high-impact role sitting at the centre of deal execution and portfolio management, with exposure to a diverse range of transactions across senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, and structured investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis and underwriting of real estate credit transactions
• Manage end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, documentation and settlement
• Oversee development of robust financial models (cashflow, risk metrics, return sensitivities)
• Coordinate external advisors (legal, valuation, QS, consultants) through transaction lifecycle
• Monitor and manage live investments, including covenant compliance and project performance
• Support preparation of investment papers and credit submissions
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performance culture

About You

5–10 years’ experience across real estate private credit, banking, funds management or advisory

Strong experience in property-backed lending or structured real estate transactions

Advanced financial modelling and credit analysis capability

Proven ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment

Commercial mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
