Lead project controls across major gas turbine outages. Drive planning, cost control, and risk across capital works. Brisbane-based.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Overhauls, you’ll provide strategic and hands-on project controls leadership across a portfolio of major gas turbine outages and projects. Working closely with Major Overhaul Managers, you’ll drive best-practice planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk control while uplifting capability across the project controls function.

• Lead planning, scheduling, cost control, and change management across a portfolio of major gas turbine outages and capital projects
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules to support progress tracking, forecasting, and decision-making
• Provide critical path analysis, performance reporting, and mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders
• Leverage SAP and planning tools to ensure accurate financials, forecasting, and governance
• Coach and mentor project controls professionals, embedding consistent standards and continuous improvement

About You

• Extensive experience in project controls within power generation, energy, or heavy industrial environments
• Strong capability across SAP, Primavera P6, and/or MS Project for complex outage and project planning
• A solid background in cost control, forecasting, earned value, and risk management on large capital works
• The confidence to influence senior stakeholders and work autonomously in high-pressure delivery environments
• A collaborative leadership style with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and outcomes
