About the Opportunity

The Oracle HCM Project Manager will lead end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects for Oracle Human Capital Management solutions within a healthcare environment. This role involves managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring seamless integration with payroll, timekeeping, and clinical staffing systems, while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee full-lifecycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations (initiation, design, build, test, go-live, and stabilization).
  • Healthcare Domain Specialization: Lead Oracle implementations specifically for Nursing Administration, clinical staffing, and physician management, ensuring alignment with healthcare-specific workflows.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between HR Leadership, IT, Nursing Administration, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Integration Oversight: Manage integrations between Oracle HCM and external systems, including EMRs, payroll, and timekeeping modules.
  • Risk & Scope Management: Proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, control scope creep, and prepare status reports for steering committees.
  • Change Management: Ensure effective user adoption, training, and transition from legacy systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) to Oracle Cloud.
  • Resource Coordination: Direct cross-functional teams, including functional consultants and technical resources.

About You

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience, with at least 2–3 full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations.
  • Domain Expertise: Proven experience in the healthcare industry, understanding clinical staffing models and hospital workflows.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Time & Labor).
  • Methodologies: Expertise in Oracle implementation methodologies (AIM/OUM).
  • Tools: Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
