Project Manager

About the Opportunity

Join us at The Gym Group as a Project Manager (Property) reporting to the Head of Gym Product. This field-based role offers an exciting opportunity to lead construction-led refurbishment, enhancement, and extension projects across our existing gym estate.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of construction and property refurbishment projects
• Deliver works within live trading environments, minimizing disruption
• Lead projects from simple refreshes to complex refurbishments and structural works
• Own project programmes, budgets, risks, and reporting
• Support technical due diligence for new gym developments
• Act as a key link between Property and cross-functional teams
• Set and manage project budgets, procurement routes, and contracts
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements

About You

Essential:

• Proven experience delivering property or construction refurbishment projects in live, multi-site environments
• Experience managing extensions, reconfigurations, and complex works
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Good working knowledge of UK construction, building regulations, and health & safety

Desirable:

• Experience in gyms, leisure, or retail environments
• Understanding of how physical spaces impact customer experience
