Cathal McGowan is a seasoned project professional from Dublin, Ireland, with over 15 years of experience in project management, business analysis, and operations. His career spans roles at Aviva, AMP, FBD, and Smartbox Group, where he worked on large-scale migrations, system transformations, and change management. Cathal now brings his expertise to Deloitte as a Consulting Senior Manager, with a focus on strategy, business architecture, and project delivery.
Keelyn O’Brien is a Project Leader at CFC Underwriting in London, where she improves project management practices across the business. With over five years of experience in financial services, consulting, and insurance, she has worked on finance transformations, process improvements, and product launches. Keelyn holds a first-class honours degree in Commerce from University College Cork and is a certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner.
David Munnelly is a manager in Deloitte’s Engineering, AI, and Data portfolio, specialising in healthcare advisory services. With ten years of experience across the public and private sectors, he has led digital transformation, service delivery, and PMO projects. His work includes implementing national healthcare systems and vaccination management. David has a background in International Relations and Peacekeeping Studies and is committed to advancing healthcare delivery.
Marion Fahy is a Global Project Manager at LifeWave, a health technology company in Galway. With over 10 years of experience, she leads complex global projects, aligning business strategies with the company’s mission. Marion has worked in the oil and gas industry in Canada and the automotive industry at Valeo Vision Systems. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons.) and excels in communication, problem-solving, and project management.
Jennifer Browne, a graduate of University College Cork (UCC), holds a BA in Language and Cultural Studies, a Higher Diploma in Applied Psychology, and a PhD in seventeenth-century French history. She has experience as a postdoctoral researcher, lecturer, and Information Developer at Johnson Controls. Currently, as a Senior Development Officer at UCC Academy, Jennifer manages EU-funded projects and supports business development and proposal writing. She is PRINCE2® and IPMA® Level D certified.
Kevin is an experienced Project and Program Management expert with over 25 years in sectors such as oil, civil, construction, and telecommunications. He currently leads the Project Delivery function at Enet, Ireland’s largest independent wholesale telecoms provider. Kevin established a new Project Management Office at Enet, implementing 3PM governance and overseeing major growth projects, including high-speed fibre network delivery.
Stephanie Sweeney is a Senior Finance Manager at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. A member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, she holds a first-class master’s degree in Financial Economics from University College Cork. With 10 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Inventory, Costing, and Supply Chain, she has worked across various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, banking, and electronics.
Aodh O’Connor holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from UCD and has worked as a research scientist at Columbia University and the Max-Planck Institute. He received the Marie-Skłodowska Curie Industrial Fellowship at SiriusXT and later earned a Diploma in Project Management (IPMA-D). Aodh currently serves as Technical Manager of Systems Development at TOMRA R&D, leading real-time software and systems R&D teams.
Laura Young graduated with first-class honours in Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering from University College Dublin. She joined MSD Biotech, Dublin, where she worked as an Upstream Equipment Engineer during the facility’s build and operational readiness phase. Laura later moved to the Manufacturing Science & Technology department, focusing on biologic drug manufacturing. Since 2022, she has been part of the New Product Introduction team, handling technology transfer of new biologics.
As an SCS Engineer, he successfully implemented multiple upgrades to control systems in high-voltage substations across Ireland as part of ESB’s forward-looking “brighter future” strategy. After an impressive eight-month tenure, Sinclair was assigned to the ESB’s international division in Bahrain. In this role, he spearheaded a comprehensive upgrade of the control centre, encompassing a state-of-the-art SCADA system, Curved Video Wallboard, and Energy Management System. This upgrade enabled seamless electrical equipment control and monitoring for the world’s largest single-site aluminium smelter.
Stephen Jones holds a first-class honours BSc in Financial Mathematics and Economics from NUIG and an MSc in Quantitative Finance from UCD. He is currently a project manager at Rockall Technologies, overseeing the delivery of collateral management software to banks. With seven years of experience as a financial consultant at Murex, Stephen has expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies for full project lifecycles.
Cillian Mac Donnchadha holds a first-class honours BSc in Biotechnology from NUIG, an MSc in Pharmacy from The Robert Gordon University, and an MSc by research from UCD. He is currently the Project Manager for Global Technical Operations at LEO Pharma. Previously, Cillian worked as a Manufacturing Development Executive, managing process development, technology transfer projects, and providing technical support to CMOs and local manufacturers.
Eamonn Morrissey holds a B.Eng. (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Limerick and a Lean Lead Certification from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. With over 20 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities Management, Eamonn currently works at SPXFLOW, where he won the 2012 President’s Award for New Product Introduction. He enjoys golfing, squash, walking, and cycling.
Claire Davis holds a First Class Honours BA in Economics & Geography from UCC and a Masters in Economics. She is currently the Project Coordinator for Smart Cities and Communities at Cork City Council. Previously, Claire was the Programme Manager for the Smart Gateway Programme Management Office. Her past experience includes roles at Cork Chamber of Commerce and South West Regional Authority, managing European-funded projects.
Sorsha currently holds a position within the Tax Policy Division of the Department of Finance in Ireland. She concisely briefs the Minister and senior management regarding tax and State aid matters. She actively develops and implements tax policy changes, ensuring their successful execution through the Finance Bill legislative programme. Sorsha has also gained valuable experience in the Financial Services and Economic and Budget Divisions.
Anna Smith holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and French from Trinity College and further studies at NEOMA Business School. She currently works as Communications | Core Banking Systems Programme at Bank of Ireland. Previously, she was a Project Manager and Communications Manager at Habitat for Humanity Ireland, focusing on communications, marketing, and institutional funding. Anna is an active volunteer with the Irish Cancer Shop in Bray.
Mikolaj Ratajczak holds a Master’s in Technology Management from the University of Limerick, a Bachelor’s in Lean, Six Sigma, and Quality Systems, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently an IT Program Manager & Business Partner at Teleflex, overseeing IT programs across EMEA & APAC. Previously, he worked as an IT Project Manager at Boston Scientific. Mikolaj is a Certified Scrum Master and holds a Yellow Belt in Six Sigma.
Aoife Floyd holds a First-Class Honours Bachelor’s in Business Information Systems from University College Cork. She is currently a Business Optimization Manager at VMware International, where she leads cross-functional collaboration in IT, BI, and Data Management. Previously, Aoife was a Senior Business Analyst at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch and a Software Developer at Fidelity Investments. She is an active member of the Women in Technology & Operations Committee and volunteers with Special Olympics Ireland.
Brona, a skilled communications consultant, has successfully developed, executed, and overseen public relations and promotional strategies for a diverse clientele of corporate entities and consumers. Following a substantial tenure in agency work, Brona embarked on an independent path, offering her expertise as a freelancer across various projects. Notably, her most demanding yet fulfilling endeavour involved serving as a consultant in Haiti. In this role, she spearheaded the inception and ongoing management of the Digicel Entrepreneur of the Year program, demonstrating her exceptional leadership and commitment.
