Company Overview
At Cowshed Collective our mission is to create pioneering content that builds communities, drives culture and challenges tradition. We want to entertain audiences, wherever they are, by making what they actually want to watch. We have a shared purpose, to build the new era of entertainment.
Role Purpose
As a Project Manager for our commercial arm of the business, you will run multiple commercial projects at any one time, from briefing through to final delivery. You will own the client relationship and coordinate our internal teams, working closely with the Producer, who leads on budgets, costs and crew.
This is a role for an experienced, self-starting project manager who can take a brief and run with it. Success means your allocated projects are delivered to brief and on time, and that clients enjoy a smooth, professional experience that makes them want to come back!
Responsibilities
Project delivery
Manage multiple commercial projects at any one time, from project booking through to going live.
Create project timelines, resource plans and production schedules, ensuring alignment with client requirements and creative objectives.
Track progress against plan, proactively identify risks and resolve issues before they affect delivery.
Escalate problems to the Client Services Lead early, with a clear view of the impact and options.
Oversee the quality of work sent to clients and talent, manage feedback and keep a tight rein on deadlines.
Client relationship
Act as the main point of contact for the client on your allocated projects.
Schedule, structure and lead all client meetings, including kick-offs, status updates and end-of-project reviews.
Understand client goals, manage expectations from start to finish and communicate progress clearly and confidently.
Internal coordination
Coordinate internal teams (for example creative, post-production and talent) so everyone knows what is needed and when.
Work closely with the Producer, who manages budgets, costs, crew, and freelancer and supplier contracts.
Run project communications through Slack and Gmail, keeping clear, up-to-date records.
Talent
Manage talent contracting, from agreeing terms to issuing and tracking contracts.
Act as the day-to-day contact for talent on your projects, including scheduling, briefing and on-set support.
Core Expectations
Our culture is underpinned by what we do and how we do it. Our guiding principles outline the behaviours we expect our people to embody, so that as a team we can deliver success, become truly inclusive, and make the organisation somewhere where everyone can give their best contribution.
