Senior Portfolio Manager – Digital Transformation

About the Opportunity

Seeking a candidate with over 10 years of functional experience in the Banking/Finance domain. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in portfolio level and program management, handling strategic level initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support project prioritization to achieve the highest business value at the portfolio level
• Participate in discussions and activities regarding IT project funding, resourcing, and prioritization
• Facilitate request intake and ideation process
• Manage risks to the portfolio
• Align programs and projects to strategic objectives and goals
• Work closely with Product owner, service owner, and portfolio lead
• Engage with Technology, training, PMO, and Heads of department for successful project implementation
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and take corrective action
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects
• Ensure allocation of common resources and skills
• Collaborate with service lines and domains for successful program delivery
• Guide and mentor project managers in risk management
• Provide updates to senior executives
• Communicate effectively and manage vendors
• Coach and develop project managers and leads
