Department Overview

Rakuten Beauty operates a reservation service for hair salons, nail salons, esthetic salons, eyelash salons, and massage salons across Japan.

We are automating, visualizing, and streamlining various operational tasks within the business. While our efforts are centered around data, since 2023, we have also been working on large-scale operational process automation, supported by a team of three RPA developers.

Position Details

Our mission is to promote operational efficiency across the entire Rakuten Beauty (RB) organization to accelerate the quality revolution of Rakuten Beauty.

Monitor the progress and challenges of each RB operational efficiency theme. Allocate resources and resolve issues across projects. Aim for continuous improvement and self-sustaining operational efficiency.

Specific Responsibilities

As a PMO, you will be responsible for Rakuten Beauty's operational improvement projects.

Participate in regular meetings Conduct interviews with various departments within Rakuten Beauty Create operational procedure manuals Manage operational procedure manuals Consider the use of vendor tools, RPA, and AI as solutions Establish a system to prevent incidents and reduce workload through automation, while preventing human errors

Mandatory Qualifications

Over 3 years of experience in creating operational procedure manuals Over 3 years of experience in operational improvement tasks

Desired Qualifications

Experience in quality improvement tasks Strong communication skills Individuals with experience or knowledge in various types of operations

TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country)
