Project Manager – Water Main Renewals

Location: Western Sydney

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: Competitive daily rate

Duration: 3-month contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-regarded Water Infrastructure company based in Sydney. This is a short-term contract role managing critical water main renewal projects, with an immediate start available.

About The Role

You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle – from commencement through to close out. The role involves managing a team of Project Engineers and Supervisors, interfacing with customers, and collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders such as Tendering, Finance, and Delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of water main renewal projectsLead Project Engineers, Senior Supervisors, and SupervisorsMaintain strong customer and stakeholder relationshipsTake full ownership of budget tracking and financial reportingCollaborate with Tendering and Estimating teamsEnsure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard

Experience Required

Proven experience managing infrastructure projects, ideally within a Water or Wastewater environmentStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated experience with budget tracking and project reportingAbility to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced delivery environment
