About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Automation Project Manager to join their highly successful Projects team. The role involves leading multiple projects at an engineering level to deliver bespoke automation solutions to a diverse range of clients throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and gain sign off agreement of project Functional Design Specifications
  • Develop associated Controls layout according to FDS requirements
  • Create technical documents in line with client requirements
  • Maintain overall responsibility for project gateway sign off
  • Manage Resource Management for each assigned project
  • Ensure compliance with relevant H and S legislation
  • Provide high-level weekly project updates to the management team

About You

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of project management experience within a logistics automation environment. Strong knowledge and experience in electrical / PLC design and development, ideally in conveyor, robotics, or automotive sectors. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Eligibility

To be considered for this role, you should have a proven track record in project management and a background in automation engineering.
