Terrific opportunity for a California-based Solar Engineering Project Manager with a wealth of experience on C&I solar projects in state. This role has no fixed location; the postholder can live anywhere, provided it's in state and there is a 25 - 50% requirement to travel to visit sites (All in California).

Our client is a leading turnkey energy solutions provider, bridging the gap between distributed generation and microgrid technologies and traditional energy management services to provide cutting-edge energy solutions to building owners of all kinds.

Responsibilities

• The Project Director will report to the VP of Engineering and Development and lead the California based solar engineering team (4 people currently and growing) on pre-sale design engineering and pre-construction interconnection activities.

Requirements

The individuals we're most interested in speaking to, will have been living and breathing the commercial solar market in California. They will have developed a minimum of c.20 - 25 commercial solar projects averaging 800kw DC and brought projects through interconnection up to build. They will be proven leaders of multi-person teams. The role has a salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 on the base, commensurate to experience.
