About The Job

IMA World Health, a member of Corus International, is seeking a Project Director to lead a $8.3 million CDC-funded project in Nigeria. The Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the project's goals, objectives, and strategy, ensuring contractual requirements are met, and supervising project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall management, strategic direction, and technical leadership to achieve project results
  • Serve as the principal liaison to CDC and country governments
  • Ensure coordination with key stakeholders at national and subnational levels
  • Lead project teams and oversee project deliverables
  • Represent the project in technical, policy, and programmatic fora
  • Identify lessons learned and best practices for external dissemination

Qualifications

  • Advanced graduate degree in public health or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in managing international donor/CDC funded health projects
  • Proven technical expertise in outbreak response and disease surveillance
  • Experience working in fragile contexts preferred
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
