Project Director

About the Opportunity

Energy America is looking for a Projects Director in Power Plant Development to lead the U.S. renewable generation assets pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle development for 50MW–1GW U.S. power-plant projects.
• Manage environmental studies and regulatory compliance.
• Support PPA negotiations and commercial structuring.
• Direct interconnection applications and grid engineering.
• Oversee EPC & construction readiness with Ganymede Utilities.
• Interface with stakeholders, manage government relations, and project controls.
• Build and lead a team of project developers and specialists.

About You

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in U.S. utility-scale power project development.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. ISO interconnection processes.
• Proven track record in project development and coordination.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Energy/Engineering).
• Experience delivering projects above 200MW per site.
• Knowledge of NASA-derived solar tech and federal contracting.
