About the Opportunity

VolkerFitzpatrick offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure and building services. We contribute to vital parts of the nation’s life through projects of strategic importance, while delivering those less visible, yet essential, works required by both private and public sectors. We build, renew, maintain highways, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial and educational buildings.

We are looking for a Project Director to operationally lead on a project in Kings Lynn. This presents a fantastic opportunity for someone stepping up from Senior Project Manager level, or someone currently operating as a Project Director within a main contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead on all operational matters from pre-construction, delivery, and completion
• Manage multiple concurrent schemes
• Build and lead new project teams to ensure successful delivery

About You

You will have:

• Extensive experience in the delivery of either standalone projects or framework environment for a Main Contractor
• MEICA/SUDS/RC Tanks experience
• Degree qualified or nearest possible equivalent
• Be a member of an appropriate professional institution such as MICE/CIOB/RICS
• A strategic mind-set, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
