Position: Project DirectorLocation: Sialkot Responsibilities in NIC Project:1. Incubator Leadership & Strategy• Provide strategic direction to position NIC Faisalabad as the leading agritech innovation hub in Pakistan.• Design and implement incubation programs, mentorship frameworks, and startup support initiatives tailored to agritech needs.• Develop annual plans, performance metrics, and reporting systems to evaluate impact and outcomes. 2. Startup Support & Development• Mentor and guide startups on business development, fundraising, technology adoption, and scaling strategies.• Facilitate access to resources, networks, industry linkages, and technical expertise.• Oversee training programs, workshops, and specialized bootcamps to accelerate startup growth. 3. Program Management & Operations• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth execution of incubation programs, events, and activities.• Oversee budgets, resources, and reporting in compliance with program requirements.• Ensure the incubator provides a modern, collaborative, and well-maintained workspace.• Engagement with IGNITE to ensure reporting compliance and timely release of reimbursables. 4. Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement• Build and sustain strong partnerships with investors, industry leaders, academia, government agencies, and agritech innovators.• Lead outreach efforts to attract high-potential agritech ideas and founders.• Represent NIC Faisalabad at local, national, and international platforms to showcase its work and opportunities.5. Community Building & Ecosystem Development• Foster a vibrant entrepreneurial community in Faisalabad connected to the broader agritech ecosystem.• Engage stakeholders through events, hackathons, networking sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums.• Advocate for agritech innovation and entrepreneurship as key drivers of economic growth. Project Director1. Ensures the success of the NIC's commitment to supporting budding startups towards economic empowerment by facilitating entrepreneurship and ecosystem development.2. Oversees the day-to-day operation of the Incubator/Accelerator facility, including marketing the facility3. Works with industry leaders, government officials, community stakeholders and advances community partnerships on behalf of The NIC Islamabad to stimulate economic development in the region.4. Acts as a catalyst to strengthen the region’s startups support network by coordinating the delivery of services to incubatees and industries and working closely with other business service providers to contribute in incubatees success. 5. On-boarding and engage potential funding sources through professional network and associations6. Develops and maintains a industries and its leaders database, prepares periodic reports, and maintains records of projects, progress, and the status of the Incubator/Accelerator.7. Assists in developing and implementing policies governing the operation of the facility consistent with the funding contracts, including meeting performance metrics and goals.8. Manages funds by planning and developing the Incubator/Accelerator budget. 9. Contributes to the overall success of the Research and Economic Development by innovative interventions.
