Project Coordinator – Residential Scheduler/Estimator

Eco Homes Group is a custom homebuilder based in Perth, Western Australia. We specialize in designing and building energy-efficient, sustainable, and passive houses. We work closely with clients to bring their unique visions to life, focusing on quality craftsmanship, smart construction methods (including timber framing), and a personalized approach to project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating day-to-day project activities, timelines, and schedules
  • Supporting the estimator in compiling quotes, reviewing supplier pricing, and preparing detailed costings
  • Maintaining and updating project management systems (we use Buildertrend)
  • Assisting with ordering materials and liaising with suppliers
  • Collaborating with the site team to ensure information flows efficiently
  • Supporting contract administration and documentation requirements
  • Communicating clearly with clients and team members about project progress
  • Tracking project budgets and variations and reporting to management
  • Scheduling and confirming trade bookings to maintain build momentum
  • Preparing handover documentation and assisting with quality assurance processes

Eligibility

Must-Have Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in the residential construction industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling methods, and project management

Nice-to-Have (Preferred but not essential)

  • Experience using Buildertrend or similar project management tools
  • Basic knowledge of residential engineering
  • Cert IV in Building and Construction
