The Project Coordinator - IT, plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of various projects within the IT. This position involves supporting IT Project Managers in large scale projects ensuring efficiency through all project phases and also performs the role of scrum master as required for IT’s smaller scale projects.
1-3 years’ experience in IT project coordination, project support, or a similar project delivery role.
Demonstrated understanding of Agile methodologies, with Scrum Master experience or a willingness to develop Agile delivery capabilities.
Strong organisational, planning, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across business and technical teams.
Experience using project management and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
Proven ability to support project reporting, risk and issue management, and project governance activities.
Highly motivated, customer-focused, and adaptable, with strong integrity, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Baseline Security Clearance; relevant qualifications or certifications (Project Management, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) will be highly regarded.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
