Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the City Plan project within defined budgets, ensuring best practice standards
  • Research and develop planning options, providing expert advice to Councillors, senior management, staff, customers, and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with principal partners and stakeholders
  • Implement Community and Corporate Plan strategies into aligned statutory and non-statutory planning instruments
  • Maintain expert knowledge of relevant planning instruments and legislation to ensure compliance and achieve strategic outcomes
  • Foster a commitment to quality and performance within the department to deliver efficient services

About You

Proven experience in managing complex planning projects and delivering results within timeframes. Strong understanding of Queensland legislative planning frameworks and statutory planning instruments.

Eligibility

You'll hold a degree qualification in Regional/Town Planning or a related field. Successful applicants will be asked to consent to a police check.
