About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • 1–4+ years’ experience in project coordination, site engineering or a similar role
  • Sound understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and buildability
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and reports
  • Familiar with Australian Standards, NCC/BCA and authority requirements
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Confident communicator who builds strong working relationships with consultants, subcontractors and site teams
  • Proficient in MS Office, project management software and document control systems (e.g. Aconex, TeamBinder)
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, site-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of assigned building works packages across the project lifecycle
  • Assist in managing RFIs, design queries and drawing registers
  • Review drawings for accuracy, sequencing and buildability
  • Monitor progress of design and site activities against programme milestones
  • Support site teams with coordination of installation works and accurate set-out
  • Assist with procurement activities
  • Coordinate subcontractor interfaces to ensure compliance with contract scope, safety, quality and programme requirements
  • Track lead times and delivery schedules of key materials
  • Support implementation of safety, quality and inspection processes
  • Assist in coordinating inspections, testing and quality checks
  • Maintain accurate project records including RFIs, drawing transmittals, variation registers
  • Participate in site, consultant and coordination meetings
  • Contribute to a collaborative, accountable and professional project team culture
