Project Coordinator

Job Description

About the Opportunity

Gulf Associates provides commercial advice for large organizations and family groups making critical investment and operational decisions. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support our advisors in organizing the data and workflows that underpin our regional engagements. This role is a central point of contact for our information management, ensuring that our internal processes support the delivery of clear and actionable advice.

About Gulf Associates

Gulf Associates provides commercial advice for companies, family groups, and sovereign entities acting in complex commercial environments. We focus on the decisions that define a regional position: market entry, partnerships, transactions, and the operational adjustments that follow. Our work is grounded in the actual behavior of counterparties, sponsors, and regulators. Clients typically reach out to us when high stakes decisions matter more than receiving another market report.

Our team works closely with owners and executives to deliver a position they can act on, supported by clear reasoning. By design, we maintain a small book of active engagements to ensure senior bandwidth is always available for the conversations where decisions are made. We prefer a direct approach and are comfortable being measured on actual commercial outcomes, such as what gets agreed or built. This focus on practical judgment allows us to support both international groups moving into the region and regional enterprises expanding within it.

The Role

The Project Coordinator serves as the organizational hub for our remote advisory teams. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that the various threads of a project are pulled together into a coherent whole. This involves managing timelines, organizing the flow of information between our research team and senior advisors, and maintaining our database of historical insights. This is a position for a highly organized individual who wants to understand the mechanics of commercial advisory from the ground up. You will get to see how complex problems are solved by being part of the process that organizes the evidence and logistics required for every decision.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily project progress and ensure that all team members are aware of upcoming internal deadlines.
  • Format and organize internal research papers for review by senior advisors.
  • Conduct basic background research to support project objectives.
  • Organize schedules for internal discussions and maintain project documents.
  • Verify accuracy of numbers and citations in client documents.
  • Assist with logistical planning for project milestones.

About You

We need a person who is organized by nature and comfortable working in a professional environment where priorities can change quickly. Since this is an entry level role, we do not require a long history of management, but we do expect a high level of written and verbal English. You should be someone who enjoys finding order in complex information and who takes pride in the details of a perfectly formatted document. Discretion is vital in our line of work; you must be able to handle sensitive commercial information with absolute care and confidentiality. A background in a field that requires logic and clear writing is often helpful.

Benefits

  • Exposure to high level commercial decision making
  • Work directly with experienced advisors
  • Receive clear, direct feedback on your work
  • Fully remote role
  • Opportunity to learn how large scale projects are organized and executed

About Company

Success at Gulf Associates is defined by the quality of our reasoning and the clarity of our communication. As a Project Coordinator, you are the person who ensures that the evidence we use is organized and that our delivery is consistent. Over time, you will gain a deep understanding of how commercial outcomes are achieved and how to manage the many moving parts of a multi million dollar advisory engagement. Working here requires a focus on the practical over the abstract, and we value team members who can translate complex situations into a structured and manageable workflow.
