Job Description

ONLY PERMANENT EMPLOYEES IN THE TITLE AND THOSE THAT ARE REACHABLE ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER CIVIL SERVICE LIST ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Reasonable Accommodations Appeals Unit coordinator and processing incoming requests.
  • Maintain an agencywide list of Executive Assistants for agency leadership that is updated and shared on a monthly basis.
  • Serve as a co-preparer for travel alongside the Operations Manager on travel for the Commissioner and other COH office staff.
  • Maintain the Commissioner’s Office Sharepoint page, regularly reviewing and updating information on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain and update organization charts for the Commissioner’s Office.
  • Assist with preparing presentations for agencywide meetings (Quarterly Management Meeting, Townhalls, etc.) and critical meetings led by the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff.
  • Provide high level administrative and logistical support to the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff related to off-site meetings and events.
  • Manage reservations for a large conference and event room located on the Commissioner’s floor.

About You

Qualifications: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory, full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience requiring independent decision-making concerning program management or planning, allocation for resources and the scheduling and assignment of work, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory capacity.
