Project Coordinator

Job Description

Project Coordinator, Margaret River $80,000 to $95,000 plus super, full time and permanent. A clear path to Project Manager, with the training paid for. You're home every night, with time left over for a surf or the family. We're Integrated Electrical. Locally owned, based in Margaret River, about 30 of us. Our power distribution, civil and commercial project work is growing, and we need someone organised to help our Operations team deliver it. The work You'll work with our Operations Manager and alongside our Team Leaders. You make sure our teams and projects are set up for success. Across a normal month you'll be on: Procurement: ordering gear, getting supplier prices, chasing deliveries, booking subbies and plant Progress claims: pulling the monthly claim together and getting it to Accounts on time Small variations: pricing them up yourself, or working with the Estimating team for larger changes QA: ITPs, test results, as-builts, commissioning paperwork and handover packs Getting to site for pre-starts, meetings and handovers The projects run from underground power and Western Power network jobs to subdivision civil works and high-end commercial builds. No two months look the same. What you get $80,000 to $95,000 plus super, depending on experience Full time and permanent Paid training to build your project management skills A gym membership, plus a sauna and ice bath at the yard No FIFO and no camp Life outside work We live down here because of what's outside work. The job should fit around that. You knock off and you're home. Getting to work takes minutes, so there's still daylight when you finish for a surf or dinner with the kids. You won't be missing birthdays because of a FIFO roster, and the only road rage you'll see is someone dropping in on you at Prev. Room to step up This role is how you get to Project Manager at IEC. We're picking up more Western Power and civil work every year, and we'd rather grow our own project managers than advertise for them. We'll pay for the training and hand you more as you're ready for it, until you're running your own projects. What you'll need Time on construction, electrical or civil projects, on the tools or in the office To be organised: the numbers add up, the paperwork's done, nothing gets dropped To be comfortable on a computer and a job management system A C-class licence and White Card Nice to have: an electrical licence or trade background, Western Power or civil experience, and time on progress claims, procurement or QA. Sparky ready to come off the tools, or a coordinator already in construction? Either works. If you're missing some of this, apply anyway. We'll teach you. Why us Our customers are people we see at the IGA on a Saturday, so we do the job right the first time. How to apply Hit Easy Apply, or email your resume to admin@iecelectrical.com.au.
