Project Coordinator

Job Description

About the Opportunity

GCL is looking to hire a Project Coordinator who will provide project-specific support to design and technical teams, ensuring smooth coordination of technical disciplines, staffing, and project deliverables. Supports the Project Manager in maintaining quality, schedule, and productivity across projects, while managing technical resources and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line project support to design and technical teams.
  • Review and approve technical staffing budgets, forecasts, and assignment schedules; ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Coordinate architectural and technical discipline efforts, including subcontractor management.
  • Monitor quality, progress, and productivity of technical disciplines and subcontractors.
  • Review subcontractor/supplier material submittals and follow up on consultant approvals.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and development of technical staff.
  • Ensure technical operations remain within authorized overhead budgets.
  • Assist in resolving technical, staffing, or schedule issues in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project objectives.

Eligibility

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent; professional registration required.
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of related experience, including supervisory or managerial experience in technical/project coordination.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Job Specific:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk products including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
  • Strong understanding of architectural and technical discipline workflows
  • Ability to manage project documentation and material submittals effectively
