About the Opportunity
To be responsible for the logistical, administrative and operational aspects of construction projects, including liaising with customers for project requirements and progress.
Responsibilities
- Plan work sequence and manpower deployment for construction site works
- Attend meetings, correspondences, and liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers
- Supervise workers and monitor sub-contractors at construction sites
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, raw materials, and consumables
- Ensure construction projects are completed as per approved drawings, deadline, and budget
- Resolve any delay/technical issues/difficulties on construction sites
- Ensure compliance with safe work procedures at construction sites
- Keep up with inventory and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Consolidate proper documents required for inspection, site works, and claims
- Report work progress to project team
- Prepare presentations for customer view
- Discuss project shortcomings with the team
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
About You
Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in Structural Steel or related field required. Diploma or higher education in a related field. Good knowledge of construction standard operating procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD, and Tekla. Able to communicate effectively in English. Class 3 license will be an advantage. Personal qualities include maturity, independence, positive attitude, client orientation, and self-motivation.
