Portfolio Manager – US Systematic Equities

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to quantitative research efforts for U.S. equities.
• Expand research capabilities with new datasets and analytical approaches.
• Champion adoption of machine learning and AI techniques for signal generation.
• Evaluate model outputs, oversee portfolio implementation, and analyze performance.
• Mentor research analysts and guide alpha research.

About You

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in quantitative investing.
• Deep expertise in alpha research, factor modeling, or machine learning.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.

Nice To Have:

• Experience across multiple regions or asset classes.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and research platforms.
• Good programming skills, particularly in Python.
• CFA or related designation.

About Company

Please note that relocation to Toronto is not required. However, the successful candidate must be available to travel to Toronto once per month for a minimum of 3 consecutive business days.
