Portfolio Manager / Trader

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager / Trader to oversee and actively manage the company’s cryptocurrency asset portfolio. This role is responsible for portfolio construction, market analysis, and execution of trading strategies across both discretionary and systematic frameworks. The ideal candidate combines strong trading instincts with disciplined risk management, deep understanding of crypto market microstructure, and a broad macro perspective to translate market insights into actionable investment direction. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research and sourcing of investment opportunities, drive the execution of due diligence processes, and oversee the monitoring and management of existing portfolio investments.
• Manage and optimize the company’s crypto asset portfolio, including asset allocation, exposure management, risk monitoring, and performance evaluation.
• Execute trading strategies across spot and derivatives markets through both manual and automated systems.
• Analyze crypto market microstructure, liquidity dynamics, and price behavior to inform trading decisions.
• Incorporate macroeconomic and industry trends into portfolio strategy and investment decisions.
• Drive the investment agenda by identifying opportunities, proposing trade ideas, and aligning portfolio strategy with broader business objectives.
• Present portfolio performance, market outlook, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Partner closely with risk, quantitative, and technology teams to enhance trading models, execution quality, and strategy performance.
• Monitor portfolio risk metrics and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, market developments, and trading outcomes.
• Continuously refine trading processes, infrastructure, and strategy implementation to improve efficiency and profitability.

Eligibility

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in trading, treasury, or portfolio management roles.
• Proven track record in cryptocurrency markets with strong knowledge of market structure, liquidity, and derivatives products.
• Solid understanding of crypto market microstructure and macro trends that impact market behavior.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision makers and clearly articulate investment views.
• Experience with systematic or algorithmic trading systems is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-moving trading environment.
