Description
Our Bolton office are looking for an exceptional portfolio manager to join our accounting team and hit the ground running with their own direct supportive team, consisting of an accountant and bookkeeper, providing an exemplary service to their own portfolio of limited company clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service, support, and business advice in a proactive manner for a portfolio of limited company clients
- Manage and review the preparation of statutory and management accounts from planning to completion ensuring they are prepared in a timely manner and that they meet HMRC and Companies House standards and deadlines

Key Requirements
- Minimum ACCA/ACA qualified with minimum 3 years’ experience in practice (will consider part ACCA/ACA qualified with considerable experience of managing an accounting team)
- Proven experience of managing own portfolio of clients as well as team management
- Experience of using cloud accounting software (preferably Xero) and knowledge of accounting support software (examples: Dext, CCH etc)
