Job Type

Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm

About The Role

Do you want to lead projects that make a real difference to people’s homes and communities? Join us as a Planned Maintenance Project Manager and play a key role in improving the quality, safety, and longevity of our homes.

At Accent, our planned works programmes are about more than buildings, they’re about the people who live in them. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of high‑value maintenance and investment projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Manage planned maintenance and refurbishment projects from inception through to completion
  • Manage regional budgets of ÂŁ5–6 million
  • Work with internal teams and external contractors
  • Inspect works before, during, and after completion
  • Uphold health and safety standards
  • Communicate clearly with residents and stakeholders

About You

The essentials:

  • Experience of construction management in planned maintenance/refurbishments
  • Experience managing external contractors
  • Knowledge of health & safety issues affecting properties
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • Significant forecasting and budget management experience
  • IT skills relating to Project Management or Asset Management systems

The desirables:

  • Previous experience in social housing
  • Ability to conduct stock condition/energy performance surveys
  • Report writing skills
