Junior Project Manager

Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive and motivated Entry Level - Junior Project Manager to support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is looking to build their project management skills while working closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating project activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project schedules, documentation and reports
  • Track project progress and update stakeholders on key milestones
  • Help identify project risks and issues, escalating when necessary
  • Attend project meetings, prepare meeting notes and follow up on action items
  • Maintain project management tools and systems (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time
  • Support process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance project delivery

Skills & Qualifications

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work well as part of a team and build relationships with stakeholders

Basic understanding of project management principles

Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Attention to detail and willingness to learn

Advantageous but not essential: experience with project management software

Education & Experience

Work placement or experience in an office or coordination role is beneficial but not required

Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM) are a plus
