About the Opportunity
South West Water keeps the South West flowing with safe, reliable drinking water and wastewater services across some of the UK’s most stunning landscapes. Join our team as an Innovation Project Coordinator to lead the Project PEDAL, an innovative initiative focused on tackling harmful algal blooms through cutting-edge technology and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead the PEDAL project from planning to execution
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders
- Monitor and report on project progress and risks
- Share insights and outcomes across the organization and industry
About You
We are looking for someone with strong project delivery skills, a passion for innovation, and collaboration.
Eligibility
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in project management
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM)
- Experience in innovation projects or programs
- Knowledge of water quality or environmental science
