Are you passionate about promoting interfaith harmony and working towards a more peaceful world? Religions for Peace UK is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating various projects to foster dialogue, understanding, and cooperation among various religious communities. You will work closely with our diverse network of faith actors, community organisations, and volunteers to create impactful initiatives that promote peace, social justice, and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from inception to completion.Develop timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and ensure insurance coverage.Engage stakeholders, faith leaders, and belief communities to encourage participation.Invite and liaise with speakers, manage intellectual property/media consent, and draft contracts for approval.Organise online and in-person events, including content creation, audience engagement, and technical support.Prepare promotional materials (written/video), and post them on Eventbrite, Mailchimp, and other social media.Facilitate discussions, record audience participation, and compile feedback.Edit recordings, segment event videos, and create educational content.Prepare post-event reports and maintain project records.Collaborate with the team, share duties, and contribute to project development and fundraising over time.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Peace Studies, Social Sciences).Proven experience in project coordination or management.Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.Ability to work independently and in a team.Passion for interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Details:Freelance contract, hybrid work (UK-based).Must have the right to work in the UK.Salary is negotiable, based on experience.Immediate start.No agencies.
