About the Opportunity
As a Digital Portfolio Manager, you will help to ensure our technology projects deliver real value and align with our digital strategy. The evolution of the digital offering and the banking app are a key strategic focus for BUK with an exciting transformation agenda planned for 2026 and next three years.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business and technology lab teams to ensure roadmaps deliver strategic objectives (OKRs)
- Manage stakeholders, oversee funding process, and track progress
- Ensure projects align with regulatory and compliance requirements
About You
To be successful as a Digital Portfolio Manager, you should have experience with:
- Managing a portfolio of technology change delivery work or a transformation program
- Financial management including forecasting, budgeting, and tracking costs and benefits
- Bidding for funding and developing business cases
- Analytical background and experience in reporting with strong Excel skills
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders
- Understanding of change delivery frameworks such as Agile Lab models, roadmaps, and productivity measures
Eligibility
Some highly valued skills may include:
- Knowledge of using JIRA and Confluence
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, Consumer Duty, and data compliance requirements)

This role can be based in London (1CP), Knutsford, Glasgow, or Northampton.

- Execution of market research to understand the competitive landscape, identify market trends and opportunities, and develop strategies
- Development of appropriate pricing models for different products and services
- Development, implementation and management of innovative financial solutions, services and products
- Identification and forging of strategic partnerships
- Management of key stakeholder relationships within target companies
- Development and implementation of sales strategies
- Monitoring of key leading and lagging metrics
