Job Description

redAcademy is seeking a Development Project Manager to drive productivity within the team.While software experience is advantageous, it is not essential.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process and project management, consistently demonstrate company values, and show exceptional attention to detail.They must be committed to delivering projects on time, achieving milestones, and continuously improving project management and reporting practices.Accountability for meeting all reporting deadlines to management is key
ResponsibilitiesDelivery Management Perform Bi-Weekly Backlog Grooming and work prioritised in order on the board.Perform Sprint Planning with relevant stakeholders Bi-weekly before next sprint commence.All Epics, Stories and Sub-Tasks related to a Sprint have Original Estimates captured before Sprint commenced.Stories are well defined and small enough to fit within one sprint. 5-7 days maximum size.Daily tracking of team(s) and/or project(s) Sprint Burn Down Reports to identify if the burn rate is on track to finish the work committed to for the sprint.All work committed to a sprint resolved within sprint reflective on Sprint Burn Down ReportTeam(s) delivering Velocity at 70% efficiency of Raw Capacity for each sprint. Measured Jira Velocity Chart (Time logged on Tempo against Jira tickets allocated to sprint)QA failures less than 5% for each QA deployment iteration for each team or projectDeliver daily attendance logs for all teams, reporting on exceptionsResponsibility for weekly Theoretical team performance reports, tracking and updatingResponsibility for full running of live client project reporting, productivity and portfolio management of candidates
Client Stakeholder EngagementPresent status of team(s) deliverables (Sprint Burn Down Reports) in weekly Operations meeting
Team ProductivityWork closely with technical lead to ensure all projects run to schedule and candidates are accurately and consistently measured.Daily Tempo time logging for all team(s).
Qualifications· +3 years managing and reporting on projects.· Experience within a Software Development environment advantageous· History of successful project delivery.· Experience with Agile, Scrum· Matric· IT related qualification· Scrum certification is advantageous.
