About the Opportunity
The Sr. Rebate Processing Specialist plays a critical role in the rebate processing operations by ensuring accurate data management, coordinating project activities, and supporting the delivery of program objectives. This position contributes to maintaining data integrity and smooth workflow processes that are essential for the successful execution of energy efficiency programs.
Responsibilities
- Process rebate applications and related documentation following program guidelines and service level agreements.
- Perform timely and accurate data entry, validation, and maintenance across various systems.
- Coordinate project activities, deliverables, timelines, and documentation to support program execution.
- Review applications and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Prepare and maintain reports and project documentation to support internal teams and client needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and process issues.
- Support program launches, system updates, and operational changes through testing and documentation.
- Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain records and audit documentation per program and client standards.
- Assist with special projects, operational initiatives, and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience in data entry, project coordination, program administration, or operations support.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with databases, CRM systems, or data management platforms preferred.
- Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in rebate processing, energy efficiency programs, utilities, or regulated environments is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Base salary range of $18 to $20 per hour, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
