About the Opportunity

Are you looking for a career where you can make a real difference in people’s day? We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team based from our Head Office in London Bridge and various other depots across London & Kent.

Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of projects and programmes across the Major Programmes portfolio.
• Coordinate the planning and delivery of assigned project activities and workstreams.
• Monitor project performance and maintain effective project controls.
• Support project change control processes and effective project governance.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the successful implementation of project outcomes into business as usual.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and governance.

About You

To be considered for this role, we recommend you demonstrate:

• Experience supporting the successful delivery of projects or programmes within a structured project environment.
• Good understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and the project lifecycle.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous professional development.
